You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Nelson Street on Wednesday 8th April at 03:08hrs

We want to make residents aware of an incident where individuals attempted to enter a property by trying the door handles and checking windows. They also tried the handle of a parked car at the address.

No entry was gained, but we are encouraging everyone to remain vigilant, ensure doors and windows are securely locked, and report any suspicious activity to the police.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your homes security.
